  • Cn Braden conducts background criminal checks

  • Search committee presents list of finalists to vestry & Cn Braden

  • Search committee comes to a consensus on finalist selection

  • Search committee conducts reference calls

  • Search committee discerns candidates

  • Search committee conducts video interviews

  • Search committee identifies candidates to interview

  • Search committee is reviewing candidate packets

  • Search committee receive names from the Bishop's office 7/8/22 after applications had been screened, "red flag check" by Cn, and approved by the Bishop

  • Search committee develops interview questions

Phase Three - Gathering Names

​

  • 6/27/22 - Closing date receiving names

  • Receive names from diocesan office

  • Position is listed as "Receiving Names" on the OTM (national) database, the Transition Ministry Newsletter, the diocesan website, and the parish website

  • Ministry Portfolio submitted to Cn Braden

During this important time, we are particularly grateful for the prayerful support of the congregation for the Search Committee, Vestry, and candidates who are in the discernment process with us.

Phase Two - Self Study

​

The search committee has completed and vestry has approved our Ministry Portfolio. We will shortly be providing it to the diocese and we will also make our Parish Profile available.

  • 4/3/21 - 2021 Parish Profile is published

  • 4/3/21 - Vestry approved the parish profile prepared by the Search Committee

  • 3/24/21 - Vestry approved the Search Committee's completed OTM Ministry Portfolio

 

Due to COVID, rather than hold the usual congregation-wide meeting(s) to discuss the needs of the congregation, the vestry participated in a search consultant-led retreat to review the strategic plan and discuss changes in the congregation. The vestry updated the strategic plan and parish goals.

Phase One - Getting Started

​

  • 2/6/21 Cn. Frank Clark, search consultant, met with the Search Committee for and trained them for the process

  • 1/11/21 Search Committee announced by vestry

  • 12/28/20 vestry approved our updated strategic plan and parish goals

  • 8/24/20 Cn. Anita Braden, diocesan deployment officer, met with vestry about proceeding

  • 8/24/20 - Fr. Peter died of a short illness and Beth Mayhew, Sr. Warden stepped in

  • 8/9/20 Cn Frank Clark engaged as our search consultant.

  • 3/16/20 All in-person actvities suspended due to COVID

  • 2/13/20 Fr. Peter Fabre, PIC, and Beth Mayhew, Sr. Warden, met with Bp. Jennifer Reddall about Fr. Peter's anticipated Jan 2021 retirement
